Bill and Rosemary enjoyed trips to Bermuda and often vacationed during the summer on Martha's Vineyard, Prouts Neck in Scarborough Maine or Jackson NH. One of their last trips together was up to York Maine, another favorite destination for them. They both enjoyed working in their backyard flower garden. Bill was instrumental in arranging for the City Hall Employee monument and flagpole that is outside of city hall on the Newcomb Street side of the building.
