Anybody have @DIRECTV and move to @ATT TV? Been w/ Direct 20 yrs but still paying extra for digital signal, extra for add’l TVs, extra for “regional sports”, etc. Technology very diff from 2001 but really don’t want hassle of 5 streaming services for desired channels.

1 For clarity, @ATT promised us monthly discounts for @DIRECTV to keep us as a customer. They lied about the discounts to keep us connected. When we challenged them with the incorrect bills with all my handwritten contemporaneous notes, they lied again and said

@ATT Have been on a 2 minute wait in the chat for much longer than 2 minutes. You all received my trade in on 11/12, and there’s been no update since. I’ve emailed twice with no response. Do you actually have customer service?

@BillGillilandJr @ATT Yup. When everything shut down, between my wife WFH and the kiddos doing virtual learning, xfinity couldn’t keep up. Fiber became available about a month later, we got it, and we have no problem with speeds or wifi dropping out anymore.

It’s beyond infuriating & insulting how @ATT “customer service” does literally nothing (goes out of their way to NOT to) when they f*ck up. Spent 2 hours on the phone for nothing except an est week turnaround for working Internet. It’s just a service transfer-cannot compute. 🤬

@jake_delferro @ATT Originally sprint and t mobile made money by selling att and Verizon service that they rented at a discount giving the tower owners customers priority, which is why they used to suck. They built their own towers now too tho, so they became the best.

@ATT you guys have no respect for your customers. Asked for a service, promised that a tech will show up today btwn 4-8 just to find out your team don't honor any promises. Now asking me to live w/o internet until Tuesday. I was home had to cancel some social event waiting 4 tech

Every month I say “this is going to be the month @ATT applies my iPhone X trade in value to my account” never happens at the point where I’m reporting it stolen but with their address 🥴 being told not to worry by their staff is not really helpful anymore it’s been a YEAR!!

Strange marketing strategy to have Colts/Cardinals on Christmas night only available via NFL Network/FuboTv. I've got ATT Uverse - no NFL Network. Looked up Fubo to see if I could stream the game - 65 bucks a month after 7 day free trial. Nope. Self-defeating strategy, gang.
